PARENT SURVIVAL GUIDE
We are happy to provide our Ingleside Middle School Parent Survival Guide. This Guide provides information about specific SUSD and Ingleside online resources, academic / grading practices, services and support offered to Ingleside students and families, characteristics of middle schoolers, contact information, and much, much more. Hopefully this 'one-stop' information tool will help you navigate through these middle school years.
Click here for the Parent Survival Guide.
The Ingleside Middle School Handbook details our expectations, guidelines, and policies. It should be reviewed by both students and parents. The Handbook is included with the Student Planner that is provided to every Ingleside student. For your convenience, it is also available here in English and Spanish.
HOW TO SCHEDULE A PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCE
Parents are invited and encouraged to schedule a conference at any time during the year to discuss concerns, progress, or just to “check-in.” The procedure for scheduling a conference is as follows:
If you would like to schedule a conference with all of your child’s teachers at once, you may call the school office to leave a message for your child’s teachers to contact you. Or you may email your child's teachers. Teachers will return your call / email and schedule the conference at a time that is convenient for you and the group of teachers to meet.
If you have a question or concern about a certain subject area, call the school office and leave a message for the individual teacher. Or email that teacher.
Students and parents are encouraged to visit the websites of the core and enrichment teachers.
A list of Ingleside teachers with a link to the teacher's email address is available on our Staff Directory Page.
MIDDLE SCHOOL ATHLETICS
Be sure to check our Athletics page (click on 'Athletics' tab at upper left) for importation information and documents for the 2014-2015 sports program.
WAY TO GO TROJANS!
Congratulations to all of our Quarter 1 sports teams, coaches, and assistant coaches for an exciting and successful season.
Special kudos to the grade 7 girls volleyball team and Coach Mauser for their undefeated season!

Beginning in 6th grade, every student is required to pay an annual ECAP (Education Career Action Plan) fee of five dollars ($5) at the beginning of the school year. Naviance provides students great tools that help them plan their educational path. While using Naviance, students will complete inventories that will help define their strengths and interests. Also within Naviance, your student will participate in activities such as Goal Setting, Career Exploration, Course Planning and High School Readiness.
Look for more information in your student's First Day Packet; click for English or Spanish.
SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER
You never know when that field trip will come along and you want to help chaperone or help in a classroom.
You must complete and submit an online Volunteer and Chaperone Application Form. Click here for the application and instructions.
Campus safety is important. SUSD safety policies strengthen our commitment of making sure all students remain safe on campus:
- All 6th - 12th grade students are required to wear their school ID badge while on campus
- All visitors are required to provide identification at the school office front desk before proceeding onto campus
